Samantha is honored to be a part of the Poetic Theater family. With PTP: Goliath (Culture Project, Wild Project, CA tour), Foreign Bodies (Women Center Stage/Culture Project), Love, Redefined, March 4 Word, and Conscious Language. Other recent: Seussical (The Gallery Players), Twelfth Night & Julius Caesar (MaineStage Shakespeare), Cinderella (Frog & Peach), The Baker’s Wife (Gallery Players), Leah In Vegas (FringeNYC),Worldwide Plays Festival (Writopia Lab/Theatre Row), And Then They Came For Me (NCTC), As You Like It (Shakespeare Santa Cruz), the web series, Dates Like This and Lemmings, and the horror flick, The Killing of Jacob Marr. Sam is a teaching artist and voice actor, recording for Scholastic, Inc., Benchmark Education, and Amplify Media, among others. She received her B.A. from UC San Diego, and has trained at Shakespeare Santa Cruz, A.C.T., Circle In The Square, and the Lorenzo de’Medici school in Florence, Italy.  www.samanthafcooper.com

Actress in Goliath, GOLIATH was presented in the Planet Connections Theatre Festival where it was nominated for 9 awards (including Samantha’s nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress) and won 5 awards including OUTSTANDING OVERALL PRODUCTION and OUTSTANDING ENSEMBLE. GOLIATH was also presented in the Poetic License 2012 Festival, for its own run in spring of 2012, an encore presentation in the Culture Project’s IMPACT Festival, on tour to Sugar Loaf Performing Arts CenterUniversity of California Berkeley, Stanford University, and University of California Santa Cruz. A welcome back performance was featured in the Poetic License 2014 Festival.
