Pamela Enz

Pamela Enz is presently describing herself as a Hybrid Collagist. Her work in overlapping multiple mediums have as their foundation, “..the miracles we wish for and sacrifices we make in the name of both love and survival.” 

AWARDS: Edward F. Albee Fellowships, many PEN grants, the Franklin Furnace Emerging Performance Award, cutz&burns residency@outpostedit & The Tennessee Williams One Act Play Award. PRODUCTIONS: @IRT Theater, MainStage@ Dixon Place, The Brick, The Secret Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, Theater for the New City, The 92 St.Y, and on WBAI radio. PERFORMANCES: “MANIFESTO” for the Movement Research 2016 gala at Judson Church honoring Anita Durst and Nicky Paraiso, “Gifts of the Spirit” with Ron Athey at Participant INC., Amanda Palmer’s video “Floating in a Cocktail Glass”, & most memorably with Anna Deavere Smith on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum. 

Her solo show of a series of shorts 3D-HOWLING at Squeaky Wheel in Buffalo, N.Y. included an interview with mentor Sam Shaw (Casavetes producer) who shepherded Pamela through the making of “oh, belly, belly…”, starring Christopher Lawford & Adam Hann-Byrd the lead character in Jodie Foster 1st film “Little Man Tate”. Short films include “sushi suicide” shown at ASHWAGH Hall in East Hampton and “Easier Said Than Done” which premiered at The Cork International Film Festival. Pamela’s screenplay “Didja..didja didja..find a gun?” was chosen for the NO BORDERS section of the IFFM. Most recently Theater for the New City produced “City Girls & Desperadoes” with Julie Atlas Muz and Austin Pendleton.
