Alex Guhde

Alex Guhde (they/them/theirs) is a New York City based non-binary queer theater maker. They strive to push the boundaries of theater making and work to challenge the binaries of the current musical theater industry. They are a singer/mover/dancer/actor, and have performed in cabarets, workshops, musicals and a lot of weird theater that you can only find in NYC. In 2016, they received an honorary award from NYMF for “Outstanding Performance by a Last Minute Understudy” and continues to perform in readings, theatrical productions, and films in the surrounding NYC area. Mostly gay stuff. Alex is a proud member of the Ring of Keys Collective: a collective of queer women, non-binary, and trans people in musical theater. They are a graduate of NYU Steinhardt’s Vocal Performance Program, and continuously study at the SITI Company. They can next be seen in the reading of Prospect Hill (the musical) on March 13th at the Old Stone House. Many thanks to Adam for always inviting me to play and create.
