Jen Hinst-White is a fiction writer and essayist whose work has appeared in The Common, The Missouri Review, The Southampton Review, Image Journal, Consequence and elsewhere. After working in the peace movement, she wrote a novella, A Fortune, about a girl whose mother serves in the 1991 Gulf War (published by Big Fiction, 2014).
