Reclamation: A Celebration of Art and Activism
 featuring Visuals & Poetry inspired by the 13 Black Lives Matter Principles
This exhibition features visual art and poetry created by NYC students, educators, activists and artists, and celebrates art and action connected with the reclamation of rights.
This exhibition celebrates the BLM week of action Feb 5-10, inspired by the 13 Black Lives Matter principles:
*DIVERSITY *BLACK FAMILIES *BLACK WOMEN *BLACK VILLAGES *GLOBALISM *EMPATHY *RESTORATIVE JUSTICE *LOVING ENGAGEMENT *QUEER-AFFIRMING *TRANSGENDER AFFIRMING *INTERGENERATIONAL *UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK *COLLECTIVE VALUE
The closing  reception is February 18th @ 2 p.m. at the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) in the East Village.  The work has been exhibited as a part of Poetic Theater Productions 7th annual Poetic License Festival.
